For my second year validation, I had the opportunity to do my internship at AGCO Fendt. This company develops and builds agricultural equipment (such as tractors) and is based in Marktoberdorf, Germany.– During this 3-month internship, I was given two tasks :– Secure Onboard Communication (SecOC) Freshness Value Manager (FVM) implementationFor context, tractors are equipped with computers to manage sensor inputs, deal with attachments and simply to work as intended. Therefore, on-board communication is essential. The team I was in works on the implementation of those communications as the Vehicle Abstraction Layer (VAL). I did my first year internship at Bouygues Telecom as a functional architect, it lasted for 11 weeks, from 12/06/2023 to 25/08/2023. During this internship, I discovered the company and the functional architect profession. To set the context, Bouygues Telecom is a French mobile phone, Internet service provider and IPTV company, part of the Bouygues group. It is the third-oldest mobile network operator in France and has just over 10 000 employees. The company has various calling and operating centres along with a “Technopole” where the company’s heart is. I was working at the latter in the EDA, ‘Équipe D’Architecture‘, specifically in the ‘Interop‘ team. My job here was to conduct studies regarding the impacts of newexpressed needs.
