Civic Engagement

With the AFEV, an association providing educational help for students (kids and adults) in a dire environment, I did some volunteering in an underprivileged middle school. There I helped students for their future orientation and helped them with homework and lessons. You can see more details at this page.

I also volunteered as staff for the 2022 and 2023 editions of the `Capitole du Libre`. This event aims to promote free software, which is software having its code open source (anyone can read it) and a licence specifying that anyone can reuse or transform the source code as he likes with no monetary restrictions. During this event, I participated as a net7 member, and we held a Linux Install Party where anyone can come and as for our help to install or repairing their operating system. This event is very interesting as people for everywhere come and participate, whether they be young or old, tech-savvy or not. It is always a refreshing experience to be there and help.

In 2022, I also staffed at the Toulouse Hacking Convention. This event holds conferences on cybersecurity from various specialists where they can expose their findings.
There I had the chance to meet very passionate people and talking with them was a very nice and fruitful experience. I am interested as a hobby in cybersecurity, and it was really fun to be a part of such an event.
